The 2005 30th Anniversary Breathe of Life Ball™ was a demonstration of love,
selflessness and contribution.
Andrew Saxon, MD, AAFA’s Physician of the Year
and William A. Burke, Ed.D who was awarded AAFA's Humanitarian Award,
were honored at the 2005 Breath of Life Ball. The event took
place on Tuesday, November 29th, 2005 at The Beverly Hills Hotel.
Celebrity hostess
was Leslie Sykes, ABC 7 Eyewitness News Anchor. The evening also
featured live music and a silent/live auction.
The Corporate Orchid Award was received by Toyota USA, Inc.
Toyota’s successes have helped millions of people. They have focused on vehicle emissions, hybrid cars
and clean air filters. They recently partnered with AAFA
in the “Breathe Easier” promotion statewide. This campaign
created greater visibility for AAFA and encouraged car owners
to change their air filters more frequently. Toyota serves as a
role model for other corporations.
