The California Chapter of the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) presents its largest annual fund raising event to help those who suffer from asthma and allergies. 

Asthma is epidemic in California! Money raised goes to benefit the many free programs and services provided by the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, including Summer Asthma Camp, Five Breathmobiles® servicing more than 120 schools, Air Power Games® and more.

The 2006 Breath of Life Ball(R) was a demonstration of generosity and commitment from AAFA supporters. The event was on December 9, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. We honored Gary Rachelefsky, MD, as Physician of the Year. Burt Rutan received the Walk of Fame Award and Art Linkletter was the recipient of the Humanitarian Award. Donald T. Sterling was Honorary Ambassador. Ruth and Bill Frank, DDS, were the event Co-Chairs and Yvonne Jones and Sharon Boucher chaired the Auction. The evening featured live music and a silent/live auction.
